Well.... life certainly has a way with getting in the way sometimes doesnt it? I know I havent been on much except maybe to post a song on Saturday nights and sometimes my questions on Friday. I feel like I have lost touch with many of you but sometimes that happens ....
Truth is that I am doing alot of therapy stuff and reflecting and in serious healing mode.... This is a big transition time for me I think as I am digging deep and doing what needs to be done. It is a deeper journey into the caverns of my soul. Sometimes I just find I dont have anything to really say of interest on here lately and it doesnt feel comfortable for me to share this part of my journey as much as I used to in the past.

It is finally getting a bit warmer and I am finding myself wanting to be outside in the yard looking at new life springing up all around me in the buds of flowers and plants... There seems to be alot of newness in my life and saying goodbye to the old things that no longer serve it's purpose.... Sophie is hanging on but it is up and down still....she has a good day then a very bad day.... We cannot seem to take her just yet.... She will have to let us know when the time comes I believe. I cannot pick a day and say this is the day we end your life with us... I just cant do that and neither can Lovie...
Lovie is doing okay...transitioning with me I think.... she seems to get a bit lonely when I dont want to watch tv with her in the evenings but I am just not very interested in any tv at the moment. I am living life and trying to wade through the muck sometimes....pulling my feet out of the mud and climbing the next peak and valley... I am walking my path. I am very glad to wave goodbye to ole man winter... I never liked him much anyway....

I have planned a trip to the beach soon and am looking forward to the sunshine and the ocean's soothing waters to restore my soul and wash over me taking with it the old shedding skins so my new self can rise and breathe in the vibrancy of life.

I am blessed to be right where I am and know a new day awaits.

Hey Peeps--- Yes it is Saturday Night Blog Fever... My computer is running at super sonic slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww speed tonight and wont hardly do anything for me so I am not sure how many blogs I'll be able to make my rounds to... but I will do my best.

My song selection for tonight was not my first choice however the ones I had picked out for tonight's listening pleasure would not play for me no matter what I did... Here's what was on my mind.... all good songs but alas it was not meant to be...

Eric Clapton was my first choice with a little "Cocaine" to liven things up with a slower lover's song to cap it off.. "Wonderful Tonight"..

Next I tried a little Billy Holiday to jazz things up a bit.. maybe even some Sarah Vaughn I thought... but again...not meant to be tonight..

I tried hopping over the fence to some country women with Wynonna and Trisha Yearwood... No luck there either.

Hey I know! How about some funk in da house! Ohio Players with "Fire"!!!!! Nope... no fire in da house either! Bah Humbug!!!!!!

So anyway... I thought who else do I really like that's a bit funky and sensual at the same time.... Ahhh yes... The Perfect choice!

So here you go... Prince is in the house bringing you a little Purple Rain... I have always loved this song... it goes in deep and makes me feel the music. I hope you enjoy it too!
