 FFF!!!

YOU KNOW WHAT DAY IT IS RIGHT?????? IT'S FRIDAY!! AND THAT MEANS YES IT'S TIME FOR :

FRIDAY FUN FACTS !!!!

Yes Scratchy- it is Friday!!!!!!

Okay bloggers!! Here are my facts for this week!

1. I lived in 22 different homes growing up and was on my own by the age of 17. It was interesting seeing how so many different families lived and it gave me a great sense of what I liked and didn't like. I knew exactly the kind of home I wanted to have when I grew up because of that perspective.

2. I have blue eyes most of the time..Sometimes they are different shades of green and they have a brown ring around the center.

3. I have a wicked sense of humor...a little warped at times but it makes life fun.

4. I love to go to libraries. When we moved into our area, I had to visit each one and I still visit all different ones. When we go on vacation, I like going to other cities libraries. I love books books books...It's a wealth of information and enjoyment at your fingertips.

5. I am severly allergic to antibiotics and have almost died twice by allergic reactions. Makes it kind of hard getting sick.

So there is your facts about the PolarB.... Glegs...I got your message and it was only 4:30 in the morning but I posted right away... Lord knows I don't want to be considered a slacker! I'd never hear the end of it from Scratchy....LOL!

OKay peeps- have a great day- I probably wont be on this ole box until way late tonight as Lovey and I are going out tonight after work... Catch ya then peeps!

 Wednesday Ramblings....

Just was thinking all kinds of things this morning on my drive in to work and I wanted to ramble a bit…so bear with me okay…

Going around the stream last night reading a lot of different things…glad to hear Puppy’s Peanut is doing much better. Thinking about how many people, especially out in rural settings do not take care of their pets…that’s just it they don’t really consider them pets. They are just animals to them which is a shame. … It’s about owning an animal just to say they have one. There is no caring or concern there…we have several people in our area that let dogs run free that are dangerous. We have people that get a dog and chain it to a tree way in the back of their yard. They don’t go out to give it any affection or talk to it or play with it… If the dog is lucky they will get a bowl of water or a pile of dry dog food. If’ it’s raining… tough shit for the dog… If they are one of the lucky ones, they may have a small doghouse to sit in….but the owners just don’t care. What kind of life is that for an animal…. Why would you get a dog just to chain it to a tree? It isn’t for protection because it is so far back out of the way that the dog couldn’t protect anyone if it wanted to. So it just sits there and waits patiently and loyally everyday for someone to come out and give it an ounce of attention. It’s sad….I think we should chain the person to the tree and let them sit out there for year in the rain and cold and then the summer heat with nobody to talk to or nothing to do…. I wonder how that would feel to them…no wonder dogs get frustrated and angry and break free and become aggressive or frightened. Lovey gets so upset and she wants to go free those dogs and bring them all home. We can’t do that but it really irks her more than anything. There’s too many in the world. Then we have the ones who let them run free. Last summer two dogs chased and cornered a deer in a creek and mauled it to death. They were starving I am sure because their owner does not feed them. Of course when the dog warden came to get them he said they were not his dogs. Now that they have a taste for blood, they are really a danger to everyone. Next time it may be a child or someone’s pet. Last time I saw one of them, it was out on the road chasing cars…Hate to say it but it would be better off if something did happen to end it’s misery.

A serial rapist was caught in our area yesterday. He lived in a nice community in a nice home…with his family and his neighbors…the normal average Joe…They have linked him to at least a dozen rapes dating all the way back to 1992. Those are just the ones they know about that have been reported. He drove trucks for a while…no telling how far his violence reached. He was married and had children. I can’t imagine how his family must be affected by this finding out that he was leading a double life and inflicting such violence on so many women…The term monster comes to mind again… like CC says…
I wonder if his wife knew she was looking into the eyes of a monster every night as she kissed her husband goodnight each night… How will this affect his children knowing their father is a rapist? It’s sad really… so many lives that this one man has impacted. For every woman he raped, and each of their families and this man’s own family… Ripple affects...like tossing a small pebble into a lake, it creates a ripple of a circle that extends outward and outward and it goes on and on…

I was also thinking about a couple of other posts where they felt like they wanted to resist being told when to celebrate love and when to celebrate anything just because society pushes it at us and or the stores push the marketing at us that indicate we have to do it just because they say so…. I think each of us is in control of our own actions and I like the philosophy- “Take what you like and leave the rest..” – same holds true for unsolicited advice…. But in the end it’s about freedom of choice…if you want to do it, then by all means do it, but don’t do something because somebody tells you to or if you don’t feel sincere about it. The other post I read was questioning the feelings love for somebody on the stream, then was it just as easy to hate someone on the stream too? I have to say that I do feel love and caring for the friends I have gotten to know here on the stream. I know they are genuine caring people and I know them not only through their posts but through personal correspondence we have had too. I read about their lives and their heartaches and their victories. I have gotten to know some of them on a deeper level quicker than maybe I would have in person. Because there are no masks on here– if it was in person this would maybe take years to develop that kind of trust and being willing to unpeel the layers of our onions with each other. I have found that when people write on here- that writing comes from their heart in many cases. I get to glimpse inside their hearts and know it is good and it is real. Is this to say I believe everything I read on the blogstream? No, most definitely not… what do you take me for- some sap? – I think there are some folks on here, who are full of shit, but my intuition is pretty good and I know to steer clear or I don’t take their blog seriously. There’s a major difference in the connections I have with those I truly care about than with those bloggers. So do I hate anyone on the stream. No- I may dislike certain bloggers but I don’t hate anyone. nor do I hate anyone out here in the physical world either..

Now on to other subjects- I’m tired of talking about that….

Lovey and I did not celebrate yesterday. We share our love everyday but we do take a special day in honor of Valentine’s Day to have fun for our commitment to one another. We will celebrate this weekend… just do something nice for us. There’s a musician playing at the bookstore Friday night and we enjoy sitting with a delicious cup of caramel coffee loaded with whipped cream listening to the music and relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere and each other. I always love those special moments between us as I look over at her and knowing that nobody else is aware we are lovers and the beautiful life we share together. It makes me smile and gives me that feeling of immense love for her. It’s a wonderful thing.

Speaking of love, I was feeling quite sentimental last night. I am missing my Mama Bear a lot and she called me yesterday to tell me she loved me and to wish me a Happy Valentine’s Day. It was good hearing her voice and knowing that she was thinking of me. We have been talking through IM almost every night and that is good but I still miss physically seeing her and hugging her and just in general spending time with her. We live on the same street, so before she left I was spending a lot more time with her and Papa. The bonding we have with each other has deepened considerably over the last several months and I just love having her in my life. I IM’ed her last night just because I wanted to make sure she knew how I felt about her and just wanted to say I love you. I think that it is important in life to tell the people in your life how you feel about them. You just never know when it could change and I don’t believe in waiting for the right time or putting off telling people that you care about them and how they make a difference in your life. I know I am a rather sentimental Bear… but considering how important the need was for me to hear those types of things growing up… when you don’t have that… it makes it all the more special when you do find it. So yes, I am a sentimental Bear and I am not afraid to admit that. Last night during IM’ing, I got a little teary just because what we have in our lives is so good and I am grateful for it. Mama told me before we said goodnight to look up at the moon and to know she was looking at it too and to know we were always together in spirit. Well, this morning while driving to work, I looked up at the full moon and it was beautiful. More beautiful than normal… It kind of had a ring or like a halo light around it. It made me smile. As I drove along, I would glance up every few seconds and the moon was right there following me all the way to work. It was so calming seeing it and feeling my Mama’s spirit there with me. It was almost like being wrapped in one of her wonderful hugs. It made me grateful and gave me a feeling of peace and contentment.

Okay… on that note I think I’ll stop with my rambling…..

Have a good day peeps!

Love & Light

 Picnic Party Puzzler

Okay bloggers!-- I thought I'd try something new on here.... gotta make it fresh and interesting...right?

For those of you who don't like puzzles, you probably won't find this to be your cuppa tea... but for those that do...well... see if you can figure this out.

This is a logic puzzle and you have to figure out where all the pieces fit by the clues I give you.... Ready?

Okay.. put your thinking caps on.....here is the scenerio...

A family with five children, went for a picnic in the country. In spite of a few unfortunate events, a good time was held by all. From the information given below in the clues, your job is to determine each child's name, what kind of sandwich he or she ate and what piece of fruit each child had along with the unfortunate incident that occured to each one. Got that? Okay....here are the clues....

1. Dean ate the banana. His elder sister tripped in a rabbit hole while they were chasing one another.

2. The child who ate the egg sandwich also ate the apple.

3. It was poor Meryl who was stung by the wasp while eating her fruit, which by the way was not a pear. She had not been given the cheese sandwich.

4. The child who fell in the stream had eaten chicken sandwiches.

5. Helen, the baby of the family, had tomato sandwiches, neither she nor the pear eater was bitten by the ants.

6. The orange eater later got lost in the woods.

7. Mandy's sandwiches was not the ham nor the cheese.

8. Craig did not eat a Peach.

Okay..... have fun... post your answers in the comments and or any other comments you may have- LOL!
******FYI**** Answers have already been guessed so don't look at the comments if you still want to try this....*********

Have fun!

 Winter Scenes

I took some shots in my front yard and wanted to share them with you... Enjoy!

This one of my Japanese Cherry trees under the veil of ice.....

This is the culvert that runs through two sections of our front yard... just made for a nice shot.

This is the front section of our yard and the island bed I created... it used to be all scraggly bushes that was very unappealing, but just look at it now......yes... it is under all that snow but still a pretty setting... The Pot Man I put together and he watches and guards over the yard all year round...

I love our fir trees.... Great at Christmas with white lights on them....We have 42 trees altogether in our yard including the ones in the back yard. All different varieties... we are actually going to add 4 more this summer to the front yard...most likely weeping cherries or crabapples...

Another shot of one of the Japanese Cherries...

Well... hope you enjoyed a small tour of the front yard and the pretty snow!
